THE CORRESPONDENCE ROOM

Letters, Questions & Conversation

✦ ・゚✧ ・゚✦

Scholarship is rarely a solitary activity.

If something in the Cabinet interests you, confuses you, contradicts something you've read, or reminds you of another source, I would be glad to hear about it.

To the curious visitor,

This archive is a record of my own independent study, but it is not intended to be a closed one.

One of the things I hope to find here is conversation: recommendations, corrections, questions, disagreements, unexpected connections, and accounts of other people's encounters with the same subjects.

You do not need to be an academic or an expert to write. A thoughtful question is quite enough.

If you have something to say about a particular piece of research, please feel free to mention the title or subject so I know where your message belongs.

A record of those who have passed through the Cabinet and left a thought behind.

A Note on Disagreement

Corrections are welcome.

I would rather discover that I am mistaken than preserve an interesting mistake simply because it is mine. However, correction and criticism is not the same thing as "lol you're stupid". I don't doubt that I am but I'd like to learn why.

This is not a place to bully me or other people. Please keep it good faith and educational. At The very least keep it friendly.
